Greetings to the KAWA leaders, founders and chairmen of the boards in
the United States and abroad. I wish you and your family a Happy and a
Healthy New Year!!
As the KAWA USA President, Silvia Patton informed you that the KAWA USA
was organized last year. We invite your organizations to join us and
work together as a team to achieve our mutual goals. Every organization
has concerns and happy events that we all could learn from if shared:
i.e., solutions to problems would be aired and successes would provide
ideas for all. We have to share with each other and work together as a
team. There is a saying pulling a big rock by one person is not
possible, but many pulling as a team would be effective. There is
strength in numbers.
There are approximately 250,000 Korean women married to non-Koreans
living all over the world and they are very successful in many ways. We
would like to set up a communication network to share pertinent news of
value to all organizations regarding, for instance, cultural activities,
educational opportunities and successes, unfair treatment by individuals
or government at any level, spousal abuse, Amerasian children, women in
need, job opportunities, good news, sad news ... etc. A simple
explanation is "Sisters helping Sisters" in anyway we can so all of us
can be successful, contributing citizens of the country where we live.
In all our activities we will also and always be good personal
Ambassadors of Korea.
God bless you all!
